WEDDING TIP WEDNESDAY
Your Wedding In Numbers
How much you should spend on your wedding vendors?
The budget for each wedding vendor can vary depending on your location, the vendor’s experience, and the level of services they provide. However, as a general guideline, here are the average percentages of the total wedding budget that couples typically allocate to each vendor:
- Wedding Planner/Coordinator: 10-15% of the total wedding budget
- Venue/Catering: 40-50% of the total wedding budget
- Photographer/Videographer: 10-15% of the total wedding budget
- Florist/Decor: 8-10% of the total wedding budget
- Music/Entertainment: 8-10% of the total wedding budget
- Wedding Attire (including dress, tux/suit, hair, makeup): 8-10% of the total wedding budget
- Wedding Cake/Dessert: 2-3% of the total wedding budget
- Stationery (including invitations, programs, menus, etc.): 2-3% of the total wedding budget
- Transportation: 2-3% of the total wedding budget
- Favors/Gifts: 2-3% of the total wedding budget
Of course, these percentages are just a guideline, and you can adjust them based on your priorities and preferences. It’s essential to determine your overall wedding budget first and then allocate the funds based on what is most important to you. Additionally, keep in mind that some vendors may offer packages or customized options that can affect their pricing, so be sure to research and compare vendors to find the best fit for your perfect day.
